       1. The air volume has decreased, and only the blower whines, but there is not much wind coming out.

This is clearly caused by a dirty air conditioning filter, which is also the most common because the air conditioning filter is relatively easy to get dirty. Sometimes the air volume decreases, and many people cannot feel it at all. They just feel that the cooling effect has deteriorated, which is actually caused by the small air volume. Usually, when summer comes, the core adjustment needs to be replaced. If it is replaced in a timely manner, this situation will not occur.

2. The air volume of the rightmost air outlet is high, while the air volume of the left air outlet is low.

This is a normal phenomenon, all cars have this situation, but some feel obvious while others feel less obvious. Because the blower is located on the right side of the vehicle, in front of the passenger seat, the wind is conveyed through the air duct. The right air outlet is close to the blower, and the air duct is short, so the wind must be stronger. The left air outlet is far from the air duct and requires a long section of the air duct to reach the outlet. There may be some loss in the middle, so a small air volume is normal. Not only is the air volume small, but the temperature will also be slightly higher, all due to losses in the middle of the long air duct.

       3. The wind cannot change direction. Although it has been adjusted to the direction of the face, it is actually blowing on the feet, or both feet and face are blowing at the same time.

This is caused by a broken wind deflector for adjusting the wind direction, or a broken air volume control switch. If it is manual, it is also possible that the cable has fallen off and the wind direction cannot be adjusted directly. It is necessary to go to the repair shop to dismantle and inspect the damaged parts for replacement or repair.

4. When the vehicle is running on the highway, it suddenly stops blowing, but you can hear the blower whining. Turn off the air conditioning and then turn it on for a while before blowing again.

This is due to icing in the evaporator. The wind blown by the blower needs to pass through the evaporator to cool down. If the surface of the evaporator freezes, the wind cannot pass through. At this point, you can only hear the blower rotating, but there is no wind blowing out of the air outlet, and the wind is blocked by the evaporator box. When the air conditioning is turned off, the ice slowly melts, and the air can be blown out again when the air conditioning is turned on. There are many reasons that can cause the evaporator to freeze, and the common ones are that the variable displacement valve of the compressor is broken or the amount of fluorine filled is too much.

    5. The first three gears do not produce air, only the fourth gear produces air.

This is caused by a typical blower resistor failure. Add resistors with different resistance values to the blower to adjust its current and wind speed. If the resistance is damaged, it will not be powered on directly, so the blower will not rotate. Why does fourth gear shift? Because the fourth gear is a direct gear and does not pass through the blower resistor, the natural resistor is not affected even if it is broken. The repair method is to replace the blower resistor. If the resistor is frequently damaged, the blower also needs to be replaced because the damage to the resistor is closely related to the blower.
