Due to the frequent braking of the car during driving, the brake drum is prone to alternating hot and cold, which is very easy to wear, crack and crack. Regular inspection and maintenance are very important. The following conditions must be repaired and replaced:

1. The diameter of the brake drum exceeds the scrap size or although it does not exceed the scrap size, after cutting, the brake drum whose diameter exceeds the safe repair size should be replaced.

2. Brake drums with a taper or roundness error exceeding 155μm should be replaced.

3. When the friction surface of the brake drum changes due to the change of the metallographic structure caused by the braking heat, it should be replaced.

4. When there is any crack on the brake drum, it should be replaced

5. After the brake drum is cut, there must be no cracks and deformation, and its size must meet the requirements of the original manufacturer.
