Top 10 countries with import value of automotive products in the first quarter of 2023

According to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers from the General Administration of Customs, in the first quarter of 2023, the top ten countries in terms of import value of automotive products were Germany, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Mexico, South Korea, Hungary, Austria, and Italy.

Compared to the same period last year, the import value of the UK and Slovakia showed a slight increase, while other countries showed varying degrees of decline, with Japan, the United States, and South Korea showing a significant decrease in import value.

In the first quarter of 2023, the cumulative import amount of automotive products from the aforementioned ten countries reached 15.45 billion US dollars, accounting for 86.9% of the total import amount of all automotive products.
