According to the analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles increased rapidly year-on-year in April 2024.

In April 2024, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 870000 and 850000 respectively, with year-on-year growth of 35.9% and 33.5%. From January to April 2024, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.985 million and 2.94 million respectively, with year-on-year growth of 30.3% and 32.3%, respectively.

In April 2024, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 736000 units, a decrease of 2.9% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 37.3%. From January to April 2024, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.52 million units, a year-on-year increase of 34.4%.

In April 2024, China's exports of new energy vehicles reached 114000 units, with a month on month decrease of 8.6% and a year-on-year increase of 13.3%. From January to April 2024, China exported 421000 new energy vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 20.8%.
