From January to August, the production and sales of automobiles reached 18.225 million and 18.21 million, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 7.4% and 8%.

（1） China's sales of passenger vehicles increased by 6.9% year-on-year in August

In August, China's production and sales of passenger vehicles reached 2.275 million and 2.273 million respectively, with year-on-year growth of 5.4% and 6.9%, respectively.

From January to August, China's passenger car production and sales reached 15.672 million and 15.643 million units respectively, with year-on-year growth of 5.9% and 6.7%, respectively.

In August, China's commercial vehicle production and sales completed 300,000 and 310,000 units respectively, with year-on-year growth of 26.2% and 20%, respectively.

From January to August, China's commercial vehicle production and sales reached 2.553 million and 2.568 million units respectively, with an increase of 18% and 16.4% year-on-year.

2、 China's sales of new energy vehicles increased by 27% year-on-year in August

In August, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 843,000 and 846,000 units respectively, with year-on-year growth of 22% and 27% respectively; The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 32.8% of the total sales of new vehicles.

From January to August, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.434 million and 5.374 million respectively, with year-on-year growth of 36.9% and 39.2% respectively; China's sales of new energy vehicles account for 29.5% of the total sales of new vehicles.

3、 China's automobile exports increased by 32.1% year-on-year in August

In August, China exported 408,000 complete vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 32.1%. 90,000 new energy vehicles were exported, with an increase of 8.1% year-on-year.

From January to August, China exported 2.941 million complete vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 61.9%. The export of new energy vehicles reached 727,000 units, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times.
