China completed the production and sales of 400 and 500 fuel cell vehicles respectively in March 2023

Among them, in March 2023, China completed the production and sales of 400 and 500 fuel cell vehicles respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 19.8% in production and a year-on-year increase of 27% in sales. From January to March, China’s production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 1,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 24.4% and 6.8%, respectively.

According to published data, in March, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 674,000 and 653,000 units respectively, with year-on-year growth of 44.8% and 34.8%, and a market share of 26.6%. Among them, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles completed 511,000 and 490,000 units respectively, with year-on-year growth of 35.8% and 23.8% respectively; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached 163,000 units, with year-on-year growth of 83.4% and 84.3% respectively; the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles completed 400 and 500 units respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 19.8% in production and a year-on-year increase of 27% in sales.
