In July 2023, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 805,000 and 780,000 units respectively, with a month-on-month increase of 2.8% in production and a month-on-month decrease of 3.2% in sales, with year-on-year growth of 30.6% and 31.6%, respectively.

From January to July 2023, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 4.591 million and 4.526 million, respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 40% and 41.7%.

In July 2023, among the China's main varieties of new energy vehicles, the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles showed a slight increase compared to the previous month, with a slight increase in pure electric vehicle production and a slight decrease in sales, and a significant decline in fuel cell vehicle production and sales; Compared to the same period last year, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles showed varying degrees of growth, while the production of fuel cell vehicles decreased and sales increased.

In July 2023, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 679,000 units, with a decrease of 6.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 26%.

From January to July 2023, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.89 million units, with a year-on-year increase of 32.5%.

In July 2023, China exported 101,000 new energy vehicles, with an increase of 29.5% month-on-month and 87% year-on-year.
