In July 2023, China’s automobile companies exported 392,000 vehicles, with an increase of 2.7% month-on-month and 35.1% year-on-year.

From January to July 2023, China’s automobile companies exported 2.533 million vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 67.9%.

In July 2023, China exported 326,000 passenger vehicles, with an increase of 4.4% month-on-month and 34.9% year-on-year.

From January to July 2023, China exported 2.105 million passenger vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 77.5%.

In July 2023, China exported 66,000 commercial vehicles, a decrease of 4.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 36.2%.

From January to July 2023, China exported 427,000 commercial vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 32.5%.

In July 2023, China exported 291,000 traditional energy vehicles, with a decrease of 4.3% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 23.2%.

From January to July 2023, China exported 1.897 million traditional energy vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 51.5%.

In July 2023, China exported 101,000 new energy vehicles, with an increase of 29.5% month-on-month and 87% year-on-year.

From January to July 2023, China exported 636,000 new energy vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 1.5 times.

The top ten China enterprises

In July 2023, among the top ten automobile companies exporting complete vehicles, SAIC exported 88,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year decrease of 2.7%, accounting for 22.4% of the total export volume. Compared to the same period in 2022, BYD's export growth rate was the most significant, reaching 19,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 3.5 times.

From January to July 2023, among the top ten automobile export enterprises, in terms of growth rate, BYD exported 100,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 7.9 times; Chery exported 471,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times; The Great Wall exported 151,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 94.7%.
