China's Auto Commodity Imports and Exports in the First Three Quarters of 2021

According to the data analysis published by the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China's total import and export of auto goods exceeded US$150 billion in the first three quarters of 2021, continuing to maintain rapid growth year-on-year.

In the first three quarters of 2021, China's auto merchandise imports and exports totaled US$150.27 billion, a year-on-year increase of 46.1%. Among them, the value of automobile product imports was US$70.83 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.5%; the value of automobile product exports was US$79.44 billion, a year-on-year increase of 59.5%.

In the first three quarters of 2021, China imported a total of 754,000 complete vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%; the import value of complete vehicles was US$41.73 billion, a year-on-year increase of 39.1%. A total of 1.492 million vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times; the export value was US$24.04 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 times.

In the first three quarters of 2021, China's auto parts import value was US$29.11 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26.3%; auto parts export value was US$55.40 billion, a year-on-year increase of 41.7%.
