Applications
U-bolt is a non-standard auto part, named from its U-shape. Both ends are threaded and can be combined with nuts. It is mainly used to fix tubular objects such as water pipes or sheet objects such as leaf springs of automobiles
U-bolts are generally used on trucks and trailers to fix the chassis and frame. For example, the leaf springs of automobile suspension are connected by U-bolts.
