Application
Emergency shut-off valve is also called safety shut-off valve or submarine valve, which means that in case of emergency, the valve will quickly close or open to avoid accidents.
The emergency shut-off valve is installed at the bottom of the tank car, and the main seal of the submarine valve is located inside the tank. When the pipeline or valve is accidentally broken, the tank can still be sealed to avoid liquid leakage in the tank and improve the safety and reliability of transportation. Every tanker has a submarine valve? What is the function of such a small component?
1. When the refueling truck is filled with fuel, the oil and gas recovery valve opens, and the rising liquid level pushes the oil and gas upward to return to the tank in the reservoir area through a series of oil and gas recovery systems.
2. The recovery valve allows the recovered gas to enter the oil tank when the tanker is unloading. In systems without oil and gas recovery facilities, air is allowed to enter the oil tank.
3. High sealing ensures the safety of tanker transportation.
4. Reasonable valve body design ensures high efficiency of oil and gas recovery.
Although the emergency cut-off valve is only an inconspicuous small part on the vehicle body, it plays a vital role. It can not only effectively absorb the energy transmitted by the pipeline damaged by the impact of the vehicle, but also ensure the integrity of the sealing mechanism to avoid material leakage. It greatly improves the safety driving guarantee in ensuring the safety of the whole vehicle and avoiding dangerous accidents.
