1, China's auto sales fell 8.4% year-on-year in December

In December, China's automobile production and sales were 2.383 million and 2.556 million respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 18.2% and 8.4%.

From January to December, China's automobile production and sales were 27.021 million and 26.864 million, with a year-on-year increase of 3.4% and 2.1% respectively.

1) China's passenger vehicles sales fell 6.7% year-on-year in December

In December, China's production and sales of passenger vehicles were 2.125 million and 2.265 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 16.1% and 6.7% respectively.

From January to December, China's production and sales of passenger vehicles were 23.836 million and 23.563 million, with a year-on-year increase of 11.2% and 9.5% respectively.

2) China's sales of commercial vehicles fell by 20.2% year-on-year in December

In December, China's production and sales of commercial vehicles were 258,000 and 291,000 respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 32.1% and 20.2%.

From January to December, China's production and sales of commercial vehicles were 3.185 million and 3.3 million respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 31.9% and 31.2%.

2, China's sales of new energy vehicles increased by 51.8% year-on-year in December

In December, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles were 795,000 and 814,000, with a year-on-year increase of 51.8%; the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 31.8% of the total sales of China's new vehicles.

From January to December, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles were 7.058 million and 6.887 million, with a year-on-year increase of 96.9% and 93.4% respectively; the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 25.6% of the total sales of China's new vehicles.

3, China's auto exports increased 45.4% year-on-year in December

In December, China exported 324,000 complete vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 45.4%. The export of new energy vehicles was 82,000, with a year-on-year increase of 3.6 times.

From January to December, China exported 3.111 million complete vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 54.4%. The export of new energy vehicles was 679,000, up 1.2 times year on year.
