A Brief Analysis of the Top 10 Countries in China's Automobile Commodity Import and Export Amount from January to September 2022

1. In terms of automobile commodity import

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), from January to September 2022, the top 10 countries in terms of the import amount of China's automobile commodities are Germany, Japan, the United States, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, Austria, Mexico, Thailand, Hungary and South Korea.

Compared with that of the same period of 2021, the import amount of Austria and Slovakia increased to a certain extent, while that of other countries decreased.

From January to September 2022, the accumulated import amount of automobile commodities of the above 10 countries was 59.94 billion US dollars, accounting for 87.6% of China's total automobile commodity import amount.

2. In terms of automobile commodity export

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), from January to September 2022, the top 10 countries in terms of the amount of automobile exports are the United States, Mexico, Japan, Belgium, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

Compared with that of the same period of 2021, the export amount of automobile commodities of the above 10 countries has increased to varying degrees, especially in Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Mexico.

From January to September 2022, the total export amount of auto commodities of the above 10 countries was 52.94 billion US dollars, accounting for 46.1% of China's total auto commodity export amount.
