According to the analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China continued to grow rapidly year-on-year in May 2024.

In May 2024, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 94,000 and 955,000 respectively, with year-on-year growth of 31.9% and 33.3%, and a market share of 39.5%.

From January to May 2024, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.926 million and 3.895 million, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 30.7% and 32.5%.

In May 2024, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 856,000 units, with a month-on-month increase of 16.3% and a year-on-year increase of 40.8%.

From January to May 2024, China's domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.376 million units, with a year-on-year increase of 35.9%.

In May 2024, China's exports of new energy vehicles reached 99000 units, with a decrease of 13.3% month-on-month and 9% year-on-year.

From January to May 2024, China exported 519,000 new energy vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 13.7%.
