Production and sales of China's automobile industry in October 2022

According to the statistical data analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in October 2022, China's automobile production and sales continued to develop steadily.

In October 2022, China's auto production and sales reached 2.599 million and 2.505 million, with a month-on-month decrease of 2.7% and 4.0% respectively, and with a year-on-year increase of  11.1% and 6.9% respectively.

From January to October 2022, China's auto production and sales reached 22.242 million and 21.975 million, with a year-on-year increase of 7.9% and 4.6% respectively.

In October 2022, China's production and sales of passenger vehicles reached 2.334 million and 2.231 million, with a month-on-month decrease of 3.1% and 4.3% respectively, and with a year-on-year increase of 16.9% and 10.7% respectively.

From January to October 2022, China's production and sales of passenger vehicles reached 19.551 million and 19.218 million respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 17.3% and 13.7% respectively.

In October 2022, China's production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 265,000 and 273,000 respectively, with a month-on-month increase of 0.8% in output and a month-on-month decrease of 1.8% in sales; and with a year-on-year decrease of 22.7% and 16.2% respectively.

From January to October 2022, China's production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2.691 million and 2.757 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 31.7% and 32.8% respectively.

In October 2022, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 762,000 and 714,000 , with a year-on-year increase of 87.6% and 81.7% respectively.

From January to October 2022, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.485 million and 5.28 million, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times respectively.
