In 2021, the Industrial Added Value of China's Automobile Manufacturing Industry Grew Steadily Year-on-year

In 2021, China's auto production and sales both exceed 26 million units, ending the three-year decline since 2018. The industrial added value of the automobile manufacturing industry also maintained a steady growth year-on-year, and the growth rate was higher than that of production and sales in the same period. According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2021, the industrial added value of China's automobile manufacturing industry increased by 5.5% year-on-year, a growth rate slightly lower than that of industrial enterprises above designated size in the country during the same period. 

It is worth mentioning that the year-on-year growth of the industrial added value of the automobile manufacturing industry in December turned from negative to positive, reaching 2.8%, ending the year-on-year decline since June.
