In November 2022, China's automobile production and sales were slightly weak, and the overall situation was less than expected. However, the production and sales of new energy vehicles continued to maintain a growth trend, completing 768,000 and 786,000 vehicles respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 65.6% and 72.3% respectively.
1、 China's auto sales fell by 7.9% year-on-year in November
In November, China's automobile production and sales reached 2.386 million and 2.328 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 7.9% respectively.
From January to November, China's automobile production and sales were 24.628 million and 24.302 million, with a year-on-year increase 6.1% and 3.3% respectively.
1) China's passenger vehicle sales fell by 5.6% year-on-year in November
In November, China’s production and sales of passenger vehicles were 2.151 million and 2.075 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 3.9% and 5.6% respectively.
From January to November, China’s production and sales of passenger vehicles were 21.702 million and 21.292 million, with a year-on-year increase of 14.7% and 11.5% respectively.
2) China's commercial vehicle sales fell by 23.4% year-on-year in November
In November, China’s production and sales of commercial vehicles were 235,000 and 253,000, with a year-on-year decrease of 33.4% and 23.4% respectively.
From January to November, China's production and sales of commercial vehicles were 2.927 million and 3.01 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 31.9% and 32.1% respectively.
2、 China's new energy vehicles sales increased by 72.3% year-on-year in November
In November, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles were 768,000 and 786,000, with a year-on-year increase of 65.6% and 72.3% respectively, and the market share reached 33.8%.
From January to November, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles were 6.253 million and 6.067 million respectively, with a year-on-year increase of twice and a market share of 25%.
3、 China's auto exports increased by 64.8% year-on-year in November
In November, China exported 329,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year of increase of 64.8%. And 95,000 new energy vehicles were exported, with a year-on-year of increase of 1.5 times.
From January to November, China exported 2.785 million vehicles, with a year-on-year of increase of 55.3%. The export of new energy vehicles was 593,000, with a year-on-year increase of twice.
