China's Production and Sales of New Energy Vehicles Exceeded 300,000 in August 2021

According to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in August 2021, the new energy vehicle market continued to outperform the market, with the production and sales continuing to grow month-on-month and year-on-year, with production and sales exceeding 300,000 vehicles, setting a new record high.

In August 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China were 309,000 and 321,000 million respectively, with a month-on-month growth of 8.8% and 18.6%, both of which were 1.8 times year-on-year growth. From January to August 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.813 millions and 1.799 millions respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 1.9 times.

Sunny: In August 2021, the production and sales of new energy subdivision models, pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles all set new records. Compared with the previous month, the production and sales of pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles have both increased, and the sales growth of pure electric vehicles has been more obvious; compared with the same period last year, the production and sales of pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles continued to maintain rapid growth increase.

From January to August 2021, the production and sales of pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles have continued to grow rapidly compared with the same period of the previous year.
