According to the statistical analysis of China Automobile Industry Association, in July 2021, the new energy vehicle market showed the characteristics of "not light in the off-season", the production and sales continued to grow month on month and year-on-year, and both reached a record high.
In July 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 284,000 and 271,000 respectively, with a month on month increase of 14.3% and 5.8%, and a year-on-year increase of 1.7 times and 1.6 times.
From January to July 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.504 million and 1.478 million respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 2 times.
In July 2021, among the main varieties of new energy vehicles, the production and sales of pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles set new records, and the growth rate of plug-in hybrid vehicles was more obvious than that of the previous month. The production and sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 1.8 times and 1.7 times respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 1.5 times and 1.6 times respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of fuel cell vehicles increased by 3.6 times and 48 times respectively year-on-year.
From January to July 2021, among the main varieties of new energy vehicles, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 2.2 times year-on-year. The production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 1.1 times and 1.3 times respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of fuel cell vehicles increased by 48.5% and 47.7% respectively year-on-year.
