1. Retail market
In May 2021, new energy vehicles continued to grow strongly. According to the data of the passenger car Association, the retail sales of new energy vehicles in May 2021 reached 185000, with a month on month growth of 17.4% and a year-on-year growth of 177.2%.

2. Wholesale market
According to the data of the CPCA, in May 2021, the wholesale sales of new energy passenger cars reached 196000, with a month on month growth of 6.7% and a year-on-year growth of 174.2%.

From the perspective of penetration rate, the penetration rate from January to may 2021 was 9.4%, while it was only 5.8% in 2020.
